Ronnie Franklin started a ISP business in 1995 he sold the business July 2007.  He has been providing free websites and e-mail accounts to Royal Rangers Outposts, Sections, Districts, Regions and other Royal Rangers associated organizations since he started his ISP business and will continue to do so as long as God provides him the funds to do so.

Ronnie was in Royal Rangers as a boy for a short time in 1962 and 1963.  He has been a commander since 1987 and has served in various staff postions at the church, district, regional and national levels.  Ronnie is currently the National Royal Rangers Alumni President.

Several type of websites are available.

Standard Websites:   You would develop the website using standard web developement tools and an FTP program to transfer the webpages to your site.

Non-Domain:  This type of website uses the www2.royalrangers.net website as the base address.  Example, if you are Outpost 55 in North Texas District then your address would be www2.royalrangers.net/northtexas/outpost55 

Domain:  This type of website uses a domain name that you choose. There is a small charge for the domain registration, but there is no charge for hosting the website.  I only charge you my actual cost for the domain name registration. 

Database Driven Websites:   This is a very powerful website system that does not require you to pruchase or use a web creation program. The website content, look and feel is stored in database and is managed and changed by using your web browser.  Various modules are available such as photo albums, flash, tools to develop forms, and many others.  You can also assign roles so different members of your Royal Rangers Staff can change portions of the website but not have total control.

Non-Domain:  This type of website uses the url of www.royalrangers.net/portals for the base address of your website.  Example, if you are Outpost 55 in North Texas District then your address would be www2.royalrangers.net/portals/northtexas/outpost55 

DNN-Domain: This type of website uses a domain name that you choose. There is a small charge for the domain registration, but there is no charge for hosting the website.  I only charge you my actual cost for the domain name registration.
