Fellow Commanders and Pastors,

 

At the January roundtable, the Winter Day was moved to the 28th.  The pre-registration date for Winter Day was not corrected on the revised calendar to reflect the new date of the Winter Day.  So please take note that the pre-registration day for the upcoming Winter Day is February 22nd and is reflected in the attached revised calendar.

 

Also note that due to the foul weather last Monday evening, the Roundtable has been moved to Monday, February 16th.  The revised calendar reflects this new date.

 

 

Dear Pastor/Commander,

 

Greetings from South Central Section of the Royal Rangers!

 

On February 28, 2009, we will hold our 30^th DIS/ADV/EXP Winter Day with events beginning at 9:30am and ending at 3:30pm. It will be held at New Franklin A/G Church (see directions below). Registration will begin at 9:00am. Lunch is provided! Events that day will include Bible/IQ, group activities and competitions such as fire building, BB-gun, and capture the flag.

 

Cost per ranger will be $12.00. For those who pre-register by February 22nd the cost will be $10.00 (contact Mark Patterson at 717 267-1997 or by email at mapapatterson@comcast.net or visit the South Central Section‘s web site at http://www.royalrangers.net/scsrr for an electronic registration form (click on the forms button). Cost includes lunch, winning prizes and trophies, insurance, and patch. A non-Royal Ranger (parent/guardian) may attend at a cost of $4.00, which covers insurance and lunch. As a reminder, Commanders please have on hand emergency medical forms and permission slips for each Ranger.

 

Other News:

The Annual Outpost Award form is available on South Central Section‘s web site. The form is due at the next roundtable which has been re-scheduled for February 16^th due to foul weather.  As always, you are invited to the February 16^th roundtable. Our roundtables are held at New Franklin Assembly of God starting at 7:00pm.

Directions to New Franklin Assembly of God:

From I-81 take the Chambersburg Wayne Ave. Exit (RT. 316) and travel south on Route 316.

Continue traveling South on Route 316 to the village of New Franklin. Turn right at the light.

The church is 1/8 of a mile on the right.
